class domilite.tags.div(*args: str | dom_tag | Markup, **kwargs: str | bool)

Bases: html_tag

The <div> HTML element is a generic container for flow content. It has no effect on the content or layout until styled in some way using CSS (e.g. styling is directly applied to it, or some kind of layout model like Flexbox is applied to its parent element).

• indent (str, optional) – String to use for indenting in pretty mode. Defaults to two spaces: ` `

• flags (RenderFlags) – Adjust the rendering properties to use (e.g. turn off PRETTY)

• pretty (bool or None) – Explicitly enable or disable pretty rendering.

• xhtml (bool or None) – Explicitly enable or disable xhtml rendering.
